United in action with and by persons with disabilities.
In support of their mental health and on the occasion of the International Day of Persons with Disabilities, Hope Revival teams provıed activities and sessions to support persons with disabilities and their families.
Activities focused on enhancing positive adaptation skills for people with disabilities, as well as skills in dealing with emotions and expressing them. They also addressed the types of societal pressures faced by people with disabilities, along with strategies for overcoming and dealing with them.
The activities were implemented in mental health care centers and psychosocial support in (Jisr al-Shughur, Bsheriya, Idlib, Sarmada, Atma, Akhtarin, Arshaf) as part of the project “Integrating Mental Health and Psychosocial Support with Health Services in Northwest Syria.”
