Hope Revival Organization conducted a specialized training for PALC community facilitators as part of the Bader 3 Project. The training aimed to strengthen their skills in facilitating community action in accordance with the Survivor and Community-Led Response approach.

The training reflects the importance of enabling communities to identify their own needs and priorities, make effective use of locally available capacities and resources, and transform identified challenges into practical initiatives designed and led by community members.

Training sessions focused on participatory learning and action during crises and on principles that place communities at the center of humanitarian response. Participants also explored the role of facilitators in creating safe and inclusive spaces where community members can express their views, participate in decision-making, and contribute to developing solutions that respond to their circumstances.

The training covered community communication and facilitation skills, approaches to encouraging participation, and methods for forming and supporting community teams. Participants also received practical guidance on preparing initial community initiative proposals, defining objectives, activities, and required resources, and understanding the initiative submission and review process.

This training represents an essential preparatory stage ahead of the launch of community initiatives under the project. Facilitators will support communities in transforming their priorities and ideas into feasible initiatives grounded in local knowledge and strengthened by shared ownership and responsibility.

Hope Revival Organization continues to promote meaningful community participation and locally led responses through activities that contribute to psychosocial well-being, protection awareness, community empowerment, and stronger, more resilient communities.
