About Hope Revival Organization:

Hope Revival Organization (HRO) is a non-profit humanitarian organization dedicated to empowering communities affected by conflict and crisis, fostering resilience, and promoting overall well-being. We work hand-in-hand with vulnerable populations, including refugees, internally displaced people, and host communities, to address their humanitarian needs.

The position has a general objective to ensure the effective implementation of HRO response program. This includes building the capacity of the team and efficiently managing the project teams and budget to provide support while ensuring all HRO’s contractual obligations, reporting requirements, quality standards, and procedures are met and followed.

Key Responsibilities:

Generic Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and implement the project according to strategy, proposals, and plans.
  • Be accountable for the quality of proposals and reports submitted to the Programme Manager, and also to the concerned partners and donors.
  • Ensure adherence to HRO policies and donor requirements.
  • Develop detailed annual activity and work plans.
  • Promote and share ideas for improvement and necessary changes in the activities.
  • Prepare periodic progress reports and other documents as required.
  • Ensure proper filing of all project documents.
  • Conduct the monthly internal review meetings in participation of HRO departments’ focal points.
  • Supervise the work of projects teams in HQ and conduct the periodic performance appraisal.
  • Report the day-to-day updates to the Programme Manager and suggest areas of improvements.
  • In coordination with Programme teams in HQ. Prepare the first drafts of concept notes, proposals, and the associated budgets, need assessment tools and reports, and workplans and share it with the Programme Manager for further review and development.
  • In coordination with Programme teams in HQ. Prepare the first drafts of projects’ media products (posts, videos, monthly newsletter, etc) in terms of projects key milestones.
  • Day-to-day follow up on the work of HQ projects teams to ensure the timely and effective performance.
  • Must have a Bachelor’s (Preferred Master’s) degree or equivalent in relevant fields of study such as International Development, Political Science/International Relations, Economics, Sociology, Psychological counseling, Health or another related field.
  • Leadership experience in program design and development, funding acquisition, program monitoring and evaluation, information management, capacity building, and compliance.
  • Should have a clear understanding of the working of the major HRO partners (IOM, WHO, OCHA, GIZ, EU, USAID, and DFID, etc.), their requirements, and standards.
  • Strong background in capacity building and staff development.
  • Good understanding of key areas under MHPSS (and its sub-programs).
  • Good understanding of the humanitarian and country context and good context analysis skills.
  • At least 2 years of experience working in a program management position in humanitarian and/or development organizations.
  • Demonstrable experience in Health, MHPSS.
  • Good knowledge of INGOs and donor agencies, procedures, guidelines, and interventions in the

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Exhibits personal qualities such as diplomacy, patient confidentiality, multicultural flexibility, stress management, and a strong sense of integrity.
  • Possesses receptiveness, sensitivity, and excellent listening skills, fostering effective interpersonal relationships.
  • Outstanding communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate ideas clearly and concisely in public, demonstrating a nuanced understanding of the issues at stake.
  • Strong planning and organizational skills, with the ability to make proactive suggestions for improvement.
  • Demonstrates the capacity to manage priorities, take initiative, and work autonomously without constant supervision.
