Mahfouz told HRO about the bitterness of displacement, the loss of friends, his health condition, and many other hardships that left him in a state of isolation and loss of interest.
Within the HRO project “Integrating mental health and psychosocial support services in health facilities”, Mahfouz was provided with a series of services, including psychological support sessions, where his talents were developed, and he was followed up. Thanks to his determination and the HRO team’s support and motivation, Mahfouz is in a better condition and motivated to start a new life full of hope.
