Children indeed need nourishment to grow healthy, yet they need play to develop mentally and emotionally, so it’s important to provide them with a friendly space to play. It’s not just a luxury but a fundamental requirement. If such a space is not available in nature, we should work together to create it. The HRO team works on establishing such spaces in Child-Friendly Spaces project in northwest Syria.
