Hope Revival Organization (HRO) has launched a specialized initiative aimed at enhancing staff care and mental well-being among humanitarian workers in Syria.
The initiative focuses on strengthening institutional policies that support staff care, alongside delivering targeted training programs in self-care, stress management, and peer support. These efforts are designed to improve working environments and promote the professional sustainability of humanitarian personnel.
The project also engages personnel from Primary Health Care Directorates, as well as the Departments of Social Affairs and Labour, with the aim of expanding its impact and strengthening coordination and integration among key actors involved in humanitarian service delivery.
As part of its collaboration with the health sector, HRO recently conducted training sessions for staff from the Primary Health Care Directorate in Damascus on self-care and stress management, enhancing their ability to cope with occupational pressures and improve the quality of services they provide.
This initiative responds to the growing need to support frontline humanitarian workers by strengthening their resilience and capacity to respond effectively to complex challenges, ultimately contributing to improved service delivery for vulnerable communities.
